The Nature's Bounty Co.'s US Nutrition Business Enters into Strategic Partnership Agreement with Acosta
Ronkonkoma, NY – The Nature's Bounty Co.’s US Nutrition business has entered into a strategic partnership with Acosta, the leading integrated sales and marketing agency in the U.S., to re-structure selected sales functions for its US Nutrition branded businesses and accounts.
Working in partnership with Acosta, who is entrenched in national accounts across the country, has strong retail execution and has robust reporting and analytic processes and tools in place, will allow us to more quickly put in place a structure that will enable stronger growth, broader distribution of our products and enriched customer service.
The national broker structure under which USN currently operates limits our ability to leverage scale, uniformly increase our resources and capabilities, and build a consistent national network that enables growth and supports our Commercial strategy.
Acosta has an unmatched depth of retail coverage, in the form of 21,000 professionals, which will give The Nature's Bounty Co. more feet on the street and frequency in the store, greater penetration within every customer and more depth and breadth across all categories. Wider distribution equals more opportunity for consumers to see and connect with our brands.
The Nature's Bounty Co. selected Acosta for its ability to provide simple, seamless national coverage while also providing local expertise at the store level and connectivity that helps shoppers connect with our brands at the shelf. Acosta has a proven track record in working with a number of iconic brands.
This external strategy will work in symbiotic partnership with some of the internal changes we’ve made, specifically around investing in internal resources dedicated to supporting growth areas of our business.
